I started this painting in the summer of 2020, during a time when it felt like the world was collapsing around us, yet I found myself in the privileged position of being home, in the quiet. I left my anxiety behind and got lost in vivid daydreams of places and experiences that I didn’t know when I’d be able to experience again. I began painting an emotional landscape based more on a feeling of place rather than an actual image. The feeling of this place was so visceral in my mind, it’s as if on another plane or dimension I was already there, as if it were not a daydream, but a memory.

Ready to hang: This piece comes unframed on stretched canvas. It will include nail and wire already fixed on the stretcher so it is ready for immediate hanging.
